From Cat (D#1): Dad is fine, just very tired. He wants to thank you all. He is thrilled at the number of comments because he has never had so many. Add to that all the prayers and love he feels from all of you, it has been a real boost to his spirits.
His blog was giving him challenges and so he posted a test message...and got 8 comments. "I don't usually get that many comments with my regular blog posts and now I get 8 comments with a "test" message." So, even though he is not posting right now, please keep sending him your wishes. It sure makes him smile.

Pop Pop! Aren't we lucky that we have your Daughter Number ONE to be there with you? She's the very best in the whole wide world. We might be biased, but I think it's true. I know you agree.
I am so glad you're comfortable right now, and you're with the two ladies who love you best. I wish I could be with you, too. But just know that you are always in my heart. I meant it when I said we'd call our first baby Charlie, after you. You are such a special guy.

My dog Annie is trying to climb onto my lap because I am crying a little and she is trying to comfort me, but she makes it hard to type! Silly grand-dog.

Because of you I am married to a great guy, and I've had such a great time seeing the family every year on the cruises. You are so generous and loving. I had a sneaky suspicion that Cat was Visitor #1 who is such a joy and I'm glad to see that I was right. Perhaps there's a career for me as a psychic yet?! Nah, better keep my dispatching job ... :-D
I like what Jim said about "Enjoy every sandwich." I'm thinking that Warren Zevon was a pretty smart guy as sometimes nothing beats a good sammich - especially if you've got a nice slice of still-warm-out-of-the-garden tomato on it and a pickle on the side!

Sheesh. I had been pretty good about not crying. Thinking about you a lot, but no tears. Until... I read your granddaughers comment above. That did it.
