My friend Paul tries to outdo the Old Sarge
OK, OK, Paul has decorated his home to a very high standard, the photos above reflect his effort to out-do my skills as a decorator.
Let me show you something………
I bet you would vote for these for the way they are decorated. I assure you that none of them is our place.
This is our house, just admire all of the decorations…………
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night…….

Away from home during the holidays......
Bob Hope did a lot of tours for our troops & now with Christmas coming it's wonderful to see how he & his group gave the men & women in the military a Christmas away from home.....
Without experiencing this for yourself, it is difficult to understand how important it is. I was lucky enough to see Bob Hope once in Vietnam, the joy and love felt by several thousand guys is indescribable.
Be thankful for the USO, they are still there putting together entertainment that will help our soldiers make through the holidays.........

What’s up Sarge??
Hi folks, I know, I know, you haven’t seen much of me lately. I must admit I have been a little puny. I know Miss Bee has been telling you about my setback, but here I am again, encouraged by Dr. Green yesterday.
I do have Pneumonia but am on antibiotics which should make me better soon. I have been having a lot of respiration problems for a couple of weeks, coughing day and night which kept me awake so I was always exhausted for lack of sleep. It is already getting better, I am not coughing so much now and did slept good last night.
I did not join in for most of the activities during the cruise but did spend a lot of time sitting on the balcony which I totally enjoyed. We were both exhausted and happy to get home.
Most of you know that Dr Green told us the Cancer is still under control, that was the good news, he also found the pneumonia which is now being treated.
I haven’t commented much on your blogs but I have been reading every day.
And that’s all folks……..
