Yep, this is my roots……….
Hat tip to daughter #1 for sending me this.
Q: How do you starve an Obama supporter?
A: Hide his food stamps under his work boots.
Have a nice day Matt Man………….

I thought making millions and billions was the American Dream...and what is this, "Your failed President?" Is Obama not your President as well. Just askin'.
Matt-Man
Nope, not mine Matt, yours and your friends who elected this idiot. He is stealing America’s future and giving it to his friends in an attempt to buy votes for his unlikely reelection. At least I hope it is unlikely, America cannot survive a second term……….
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award bestowed by the President of the United States and is—along with the comparable Congressional Gold Medal bestowed by an act of U.S. Congress—the highest civilian award in the United States. It recognizes those individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."The award is not limited to U.S. citizens and, while it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military personnel and worn on the uniform.

Jeter has made a few trips to the Yankee Dugout lately, sometimes he gets in the middle of the action………
Here his name sake, Derrick Jeter is turning a double play at second base and Jeter Harris kept that Indian player off the base……
Jeter loves it when he gets to watch the game from the Dugout…
Jeter has nailed some good interviews as a sports writer, here he is with Yogi
But best of all he is watching Derrick Jeter hit the long ball………
A doctor once told Albert Brown he shouldn’t expect to make it to 50, given the toll taken by his years in a Japanese labor camp during World War II and the infamous, often-deadly march that got him there. But the former dentist made it to 105, embodying the power of a positive spirit in the face of inordinate odds.
“Doc” Brown was nearly 40 in 1942 when he endured the Bataan Death March, a harrowing 65-mile trek in which 78,000 prisoners of war were forced to walk from Bataan province near Manila to a Japanese POW camp. As many as 11,000 died along the way. Many were denied food, water and medical care, and those who stumbled or fell during the scorching journey through Philippine jungles were stabbed, shot or beheaded.

Photography of returning remains has historically been very tightly controlled, and traditionally if any of the families of the dead object, only the approved caskets are photographed. In this case, 19 of the 30 families said no, and the press were told they were not allowed to take images during the scene, despite high interest. They even asked if they could photograph just the officials, but were still rebuffed. That's the point of contention, since the White House widely released a photo on their own.
What the old sarge thinks: Yep, our commander (shutter) in chief, completely disregarded the wishes of the families in violation of DOD policy, how could this looser pass an opportunity for self promotion……
Ok Newsweek, you have earned your place on the trash heap of dead publications. I do wonder how long it took you to get that blank stair on he face.
“The Queen of Rage” you say The Queen Of Rage” The photo of Bachmann makes her look like some sort of manic street preacher. And the headline, "Queen of Rage," hardly speaks to her Christian values.
Is this some gimmick by Newsweek to goose newsstand sales? Cause they couldn't have picked a crazier picture and headline to entice supermarket shoppers.
The cover shows Bachmann standing against a stark blue background, looking directly into the camera with a wide-eyed expression. The headline advertising the magazine's story reads, "THE QUEEN OF RAGE."
Rage" is a word that doesn't appear in Newsweek's actual profile of Bachmann
Do these guys know they are going to be replaced by the National Inquirer…….
Bubba and Johnny Ray were sittin' on the front porch drinking beer when a large truck hauling huge rolls of sod went by.
I'm gonna do dat when I win the lottery", said Bubba.
"Do what?" asked Johnny Ray.
"Send my grass out to be mowed."
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), center, is welcomed by her fellow members of the the House of Representatives as she appears on the floor for the first time since her shooting earlier this year.
Even though I do not agree with the political views of this lady, I commend her for her tenacity, she is a fighter who faced overwhelming odds and made it back to the House of Representatives to cast the vote that put the debt limit bill over the top. I am not convinced that she made the correct vote, but Representative Giffords is an American Hero in my eyes.
I suppose this post is here because I went back into Chemo treatment yesterday. This current round of the cancer fight is approaching three years now. Am I pissed off, you bet, but that will not change my condition, life is precious, so you keep up the fight.
My treatment went well, I am experiencing some shortness of breath and will have an Echo Doppler of my heart today in an attempt to find the cause. I have had no ill effects from the treatment so far….
What the hell were they thinking, this crap would kill a tree that was a 100 years old, and they did not consider the effect it would have on the human body.
Studies of veterans who served in South Vietnam during the war have increased rates of cancer, nerve, digestive, skin and respiratory disorders. Veterans from the south had higher rates of throat cancer, acute/chronic leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, soft tissue sarcoma and liver cancer. Other than liver cancer, these are the same conditions the US Veteran's Administration has found to be associated with exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin, and are on the list of conditions eligible for compensation and treatment.
While in Vietnam, the veterans were told not to worry, and were persuaded the chemical was harmless. After returning home, Vietnam veterans began to suspect their ill health or the instances of their wives having miscarriages or children born with birth defects may be related to Agent Orange and the other toxic herbicides to which they were exposed in Vietnam.
NOT TO WORRY, IT IS HARMLESS………
The following are list of health issues I have suffered, all related to Agent Orange.
Neuropathy in both feet since 2005, live with it.
Medicated since 2004.
Pacemaker implanted in 2001.
R-Chop Chemo in 2009, followed by 15 radiation treatments
My prostate was removed in 2001. Followed with 36 radiation treatments.
Respiratory cancer resulted in the removal of the upper right lobe of my lung. This cancer is now in the bone in my back and that is why I am presently being treated.
Other than that it has proven to be harmless to me personally.
Air Force records show at least 6,542 spraying missions took place over the course of Operation Ranch Hand. By 1971, 12 percent of the total area of South Vietnam had been sprayed with defoliating chemicals, at an average concentration of 13 times the recommended USDA application rate for domestic use. In South Vietnam alone, an estimated 10 million hectares of agricultural land were ultimately destroyed. In some areas, TCDD concentrations in soil and water were hundreds of times greater than the levels considered safe by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Hey folks, we got to come home, what about the Vietnamese people, they live there, they were at home…..
40 years after it was sprayed, Agent Orange continues to cause deaths, cancers, leukemia and birth defects. The Vietnamese Red Cross estimates that there are one million victims.
Q: What's the difference between Obama's cabinet and a penitentiary?
A: One is filled with blackmailers, tax-evaders, and threats to society. The other's for housing prisoners.

I must admit, they are very eco-friendly, nature friendly, and green, look they make a wonderful planter.
