If you read Chuck’s blog you know he was speaking at an AA Meeting tonight.  I decided to surprise him and show up to hear him talk and I must say he is not the same person I had listened to on many previous occasions.  He is real, he is serious, and he is involved in recovery from the use of drugs and alcohol.  I have in my many years of personal recovery listened to many speakers and have spoken at meetings like this one myself, not nearly as good as Chuck, he is on a solid path to recovery and is sharing his knowledge with people searching for what he has found.

As a little sidelight, I picked up a chip for 24 years clean and sober.

Unfortunately, even President Barack Obama appears to have been influenced by this thinking. He asserted in a speech Thursday that Israel's future borders with a Palestinian state "should be based on the 1967 lines," a position he tried to offset by offering "mutually agreed land swaps." Mr. Abbas has said many times that any land swaps would be minuscule.

President Obama did not speak for me when he threw our friend, Israel, under a bus loaded with suicide bombers.
