I do not think it says you shall faithfully execute all laws you agree with.

President Obama has instructed the Justice Department to stop defending the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act, which has since 1996 allowed states to refuse to recognize same-sex partnerships legally recognized in other states.

President Obama believes that section – Section 3 — “is unconstitutional” given the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment (including its equal protection component), Holder wrote, and the president has instructed the Department of Justice to no longer defend the law in those two lawsuits.

At the same time they a proceeding with Obamacare which has been ruled “UNCONSTITUTIONAL” by a Judge who has the responsibility under our Constitution to determine the “constitutionality” of laws.  But, oh well, the Constitution is old, maybe they did mean to allow Obama to make such rulings………….

As states across our country are in turmoil, spurred on by the President, he fears that they (the democrats) are on the verge of losing a huge cash cow, the forced union dues of public employees, he is playing his cards for a replacement  source of dollars…………HELLO GAY PEOPLE.

Just to refresh your memory, do you remember all the lame stream media reports about Tea Party signage, how raciest, hateful, we the members of the Tea Party are?

How about the unhappy school teachers in Madison Wisconsin, these upstanding folks would never do anything like those raciest evil tea-baggers……

Help me out here folks, is this who should be in charge of our children 30-40 hours per week, they lie and used sick days, they accept phony doctors excuses, they have no character, boy, I now understand why daughter #1 has home schooled her children, at great sacrifice and expense to herself. 

Governor Scott Walker, now my newest hero,  is unapologetic. These are difficult times. Wisconsin is facing a budget crisis. And there have to be cuts. Walker believes the changes he’s proposing are relatively modest. “I’m asking them to contribute 5.8 percent of their salary to their pension – right about the national average for contributions. And I’m asking them to pay 12 percent of their health care premiums – up from 6 percent. The national average is around 25 percent."

Can we get honest here, this crap is not about rights of workers, it is not about money, it is about unions and the strangle hold they have on public sector workers and taxpayer dollars.  They have POWER, and are not willing to give back any of that power, to hell with the workers, to hell with the kids…….

Get ready: SEIU’s Purple Army nationwide protest schedule; teachers’ unions pressure members to show “solidarity”  MICHELLE MALKIN has SEIU Purple Bus schedule which includes Madison, Wi  on 2/22/2010.  Union thugs are flowing into Madison at the request of the Obama Administration and the DNC.

What is going on, this governor ran a campaign saying what he would do if he was elected, surprise, the people of Wisconsin elected him and he is taking steps to fulfill his promises, how unlikely is that.

What the hell is going on, look at Greece where students destroyed a country because they no longer had the money to provide expected services, it has happened across Europe, and now is in the USA, look out, this is phase one, several other states including NY, CALIF, FL, TENN, TEXAS, and OHIO will erupt in the next few weeks as cuts in their budgets move forward.

Elections have results…….

President Obama said, “no doubt about who's in charge of these negotiations. "I won," Obama noted matter-of-factly.”

Governor Walker, that sounds like a good line for you, ‘I WON’………….

President Obama delivered a budget that will add another record $1.6 trillion deficit to our 14+ trillion dollar debt.

It is obvious that the president is in the game playing stage, they talk of government shutdown, the democrats act as though the economy is strong enough that they are willing to play political chicken.

From my point of view, it is time to be bold, take the game to them, our country is being destroyed from within.

Taking a test drive…….

I stopped by the Chevrolet Dealership yesterday, for a look at the
new Silverado 1500 pickup.

 
Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense
that new "feel" before they become extinct...

The salesman (a black man wearing an Obama "change" lapel pin) satin the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options.

The seats were of particular interest.

He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the
winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat.

Feeling like messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a
Republican truck............
.
Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican
truck.

I explained that if it were a Democrat truck, the seats would blow
smoke up your ass year- round.

I had to walk back to the dealership.... Damn guy had no sense of
humor.

Use with caution, repeated use will irritate your ass….

A married couple were asleep when the phone rang 
at 2 in the morning. The very blonde wife picked up the phone,

and a K-9 unit, patrolling nearby, was the first to respond.

As the K-9 officer approached the house with his dog on a leash, the blonde ran out on the porch, shuddered at the sight of the cop and his dog, then sat down on the steps. Putting her face in her hands, she moaned, 'I come home to find all my possessions stolen. I call the police for help, and what do they do? They send me a BLIND policeman!'

My immediate reaction was to tell Matt what a Jerk he is, but then after some thought I realized his dilemma, as a liberal he has no one to be proud of.  Take Obama, please, the man has destroyed our economy in 1/2 of his only term.   In the midterm elections Republicans gained 63 seats, the most for any party since 1948.  With Bill Clinton they said, “Its the economy stupid,” this year it should have been “Its the President Stupid.”

Sorry Matt, even though Bill Clinton was successful as President he was a total failure in the his personal life, I suppose you would be proud of that.

Jimmy Carter, lost his reelection bid in the biggest landslide in the history of our country.  Not much to celebrate there.

I should not be so hard on you Matt, you walk among losers…….

Ronald W. Reagan, American…….

And proud of it……

Even the left is trying to co-opt his greatness

He was denigrated as just an actor, a lightweight, an extremist and many other insults. And yet now he is revered by most including many on the left.

 

In his farewell address to the American people in January 1989, President Reagan said, “Ours was the first revolution in the history of mankind that truly reversed the course of government, and with three little words, “We the people.”

We tell the government what to do, said the president, it doesn’t tell us. This simple and yet revolutionary idea of “We the people,” he explained, was the underlying basis for everything he had tried to do as President.

Needless to say, Ronald Reagan is one of my personal hero’s.  He gave me back the pride I felt in Military Service, a pride that had been stripped away by our abandonment of the Vietnamese People and our shameful treatment during the Carter years.  Everyone should be joyful that such a man lived, Ronald W. Reagan, a great American.
