Ok Newsweek, you have earned your place on the trash heap of dead publications. I do wonder how long it took you to get that blank stair on he face.
“The Queen of Rage” you say The Queen Of Rage” The photo of Bachmann makes her look like some sort of manic street preacher. And the headline, "Queen of Rage," hardly speaks to her Christian values.
Is this some gimmick by Newsweek to goose newsstand sales? Cause they couldn't have picked a crazier picture and headline to entice supermarket shoppers.
The cover shows Bachmann standing against a stark blue background, looking directly into the camera with a wide-eyed expression. The headline advertising the magazine's story reads, "THE QUEEN OF RAGE."
Rage" is a word that doesn't appear in Newsweek's actual profile of Bachmann
Do these guys know they are going to be replaced by the National Inquirer…….

I don't read any of these rags anymore. They are all one-sided. Always. They diss what they fear plain and simple. Speaking of simple...that describes Newsweek.
Have a terrific day Sarge. :)
I gave up Time and Newsweek years ago - I just couldn't stand their content any longer.
As for the NY Times - "All the news that's fit to print". Of course, whether it is factual or not is another issue.

Unfortunately most of journalism has lost its validity.
Sarge so good to see you post today, I like to see the fight. As for all the news, I find it all to be spun to get attention and most of it is just depressing. I think I would rather watch I Love Lucy.
Big hugs,
Bobbi
We do not get any magazines or newspapers, other than our weekly local one...and we are certainly not watching the lamestream media either. I don't like having my news filtered nor slanted.
So good to see you post. Sending warm hugs, honey...
This is horrible? Looks photoshopped to elongate her face and make her grey looking. Wow!
So happy to see you posting today! Miss you!
so good to see you are feeling well enough to post!!!
sadly, it is all fiction and very little news.

I'm so glad you are doing better. You are one hell of a strong human being Charlie. I'm always thinking about you my friend.
Paul
Sarge, I hope you're doing well.
You have an unlikely ally on this post: Jon Stewart called Newsweek out on this cover, too.
Completely Agree
HA! I love the cartoon!!
