The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award bestowed by the President of the United States and is—along with the comparable Congressional Gold Medal bestowed by an act of U.S. Congress—the highest civilian award in the United States. It recognizes those individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."The award is not limited to U.S. citizens and, while it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military personnel and worn on the uniform.

You are just stupid Matt, he created gizillions of dollars for himself,said he wants to pay more tax, and agreed with you and your failed president, he did a fund raiser, and was decorated, it sucks. Not so sure where the dumb ass is here.
I'm not sure what he (Buffet) has or has not contributed or done in his life (I know he has given billions to charity), however, other than military awards, I'm not sure what awards mean anymore, like Obama receiving the Nobel Prize for Peace as did Arafat(a terrorist) did in his day. There has to be about two hundred award shows now, for example, where it seems it is only for self congratulations and to sell something. Now, it seems, we are selling America out.
I thought making millions and billions was the American Dream...and what is this, "Your failed President?" Is Obama not your President as well. Just askin'.
