I heard you say you will not guarantee SS checks if the debt ceiling isn't raised.
Why is it the scare always has to do with SS, Medicare, & our Soldiers pay?
Why not stop your pay, your staff, or Congress and the Senate to save more money for our country?
Don’t tell me it can not be done, this is White House Laundry in a more frugal time..
Why use Seniors, Soldiers, & our Needy as examples?
Take the money from those who take no risks and reap the benefits!! Instead of threatening to withhold Social Security, VA and disability payments of people who really need the money....
Lets hold the paychecks of all house & senate members, then see how fast they resolve the debt ceiling crisis !!!!!

Unfortunately, I wonder if we are in the majority who feel this way. Yesterday, while on FB, I saw a link on a "friends" wall titled " I LOVE OBAMA"..thinking it was a joked, I clicked on the link.
It was not a joke..made me sick to my stomach!

Sign me up Sarge. I am sure many of us would love their perks. Free health care, retirement after just a few years. Give me a break. I can't tell you how much I agree with this. I think people on all sides of the fench feel this way.

Congress has probably passed a law that exempts them from any non-issuance of paycheck deal that occurs because of any action they (Congress) takes.

It's a disgrace that such terribly short sighted 'solutions' are being bandied about by that man.
Social Security should be sancrosanct - but that was doomed back in the late 80's, the second they borrowed money against it.
What you earn should have been put in your OWN personal account, not to be touched until age 65. It's all very sad.
