Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...
You folks know I am a simple man, not known as a bible thumper, but believing that what is says in the constitution is what it means. I study those words form the establishment clause of the First Amendment of our constitution an wonder how that could be misunderstood.
I know, for a long time people have tried to change the meaning from “freedom of religion” to “freedom from religion” but we all know exactly what those words say, especially the “or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...” part.
We have judges that have ruled that kids cannot say a prayer as they are about to take a test in school. a Christmas Tree is unconstitutional or a Nativity Scene on the public square violates this clause.
I suppose you know that I think these judges are idiots and should not be on the bench but alas, they have lifetime appointments. (Holy Crap)
Speaking of holy crap, suppose I told you that the Veterans National Cemetery in Houston, TX. Cemetery Director, Arleen Ocasio, has:
- Ordered an American Legion post to remove prayers from its burial rituals
- Told the National Memorial Ladies they may no longer include “God bless” in their condolence cards or use religious messages when talking with veterans’ families
- Shut down the cemetery chapel and turned it into a meeting room
HOUSTON — Arleen Ocasio was recently selected as director of the Houston VA National Cemetery. In her new post, she is responsible for all burial, maintenance, and administrative operations at the cemetery. The Houston VA National Cemetery is the second largest national cemetery in the region, encompassing some 419 acres of a former dairy farm in northwest Houston.
I must admit I do not know much about this idiot, but I do know she stepped across the line in her effort to make us “free from religion.” That’s is not what it says idiot, it is “freedom of religion.”
Somebody please, take her out of her position of authority.

Yeah, but we're all letting it happen! I'm sick and tired of saying how sick and tired I am of everything that's happening!!! We'd better start doing something or we're gonna dread it!!!!!!
