President Obama did not speak for me when he threw our friend, Israel, under a bus loaded with suicide bombers.
Our president said:
So while the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, and a secure Israel. The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.
I think Benjamin Netanyahu should come to the United States today and demand the U.S. return all territory gained from the 1848 Mexican War.
The Mexican–American War (or Mexican War) was an armed conflict between the United States and Mexico from 1846 to 1848 in the wake of the 1845 U.S. annexation of Texas, which Mexico considered part of its territory despite the 1836 Texas Revolution.
American forces invaded and conquered New Mexico, California, and parts of what is currently northern Mexico; meanwhile, the American Navy conducted a blockade, and took several garrisons on the Pacific coast of Mexico—largely what is now California, but also farther south. Another American army captured Mexico City, which forced Mexico to agree to the sale of its northern territories to the U.S.

Where exactly is your point of contention? The 1967 borders or a proposed Palestinian state.
Not being a fan of foreign aid generally, I approve of Israel as an ally but tire of our perpetual patronage of Israel as a client state.
Nor me, Sarge. Israel does not need his advice.
Big hugs, honey...
Israel would have no way to defend itself with the 1967 border, their sworn enemy would no longer need rockets, mortars would be enough to attack major cities.
What a mess and it just gets messier. It give me a headache. Did he get this advice from CNN?
Have a terrific day Sarge. :)
Oy vey...

Any borders would be fine if Hamas, et al. would accept that Israel has a right to exist. That's a huge if -- and I must sadly agree that Mr. Obama's comments yesterday did not hasten that day.
Of course, Hamas is in favor of turning back the clock. Forty four years, they might say, is a good start -- but why stop at the 1967 borders? How about the 1947 borders? (When Israel did not exist.)
Sarge...you realize that nobody has called for Israel to return to the 1967 borders.
Regardless, Israel is far better equipped to defend herself now, than in 1967.
Amen, Sarge! I am with Israel one hundred percent. If 'Barry' would read the Bible he so claims to believe (HA!), he would find out that anyone who messes with Israel gets on the wrong side of God. Fasten your seat belts, America. And pray for our current administrator.
