You guys remember this place, the funny farm, ho ho he he ha ha, those nice men in their white coats………..
I had my first treatment yesterday, originally I thought it was 15 treatments but it will only be 14 so today is two down and 12 to go.
This is a friendly place everyone has a big smile as they greet you, they know we do not want to be there so they make us feel so welcome.
Holy crap, that’s me, the blue box on my neck is where I am being radiated. Hey look, I never saw my pace maker before.
The problem with this is the very sensitive tissue in the neck, looking forward to the worst sore throat in my lifetime and will have a raspy voice as the vocal cords are radiated. It will be a temporary condition. I will recover in a short time after the final treatment.
Two down, 12 to go, I am done with this crap for today.
and then I get another happy face as I leave, not too bad so far….

Sarge, maybe with enough radiation, you can glow in the dark, and therefore save on your electric bill.
;-]
Wish you all the best!
Sarge, you are invited to call in and be our guest on our Blog Talk Radio Show this Friday at 11 PM and tell us why the GOP taking over the House is a good thing. Let me know. Cheers!!
Love you Sarge. You're going to sail right through this. Big hug to you and Empress Bee. :)
Sarge,
Thinking of you and Bee - stay strong.
What Sandee said, Sarge. Is that little green man the radioactive version of the Michelin Man?
Big hugs :]
one step at a time! love you bunches and bunches.
Sorry Matt Man, I am in treatment for cancer, I will be asleep at 11 PM on Friday. They will control the purse strings, I hope the do that wisely. For the past two years our debt has been like a moon shot.
Sweetie, you and the Empress are not alone in this journey. We'll be along and watch the countdown and send our love and prayers. And hugs. Really big, tight, squeezy hugs...
Holding you in the palm of our hands!
only 12 to go.

Charlie, you are such a happy Republican, even your Xray is smiling!!!

that matt man doesn't even have the decency to say he hopes you feel okay. at least all liberals are not that uncaring and insensitive. at least i don't think they are. but he is. buggers.

Sarge,
God bless you and we love you. Keep up the good spirits, keep the Aces up the sleeves. Take care of yourself and Miss Bee.
Ciao Sarge!!!
I quote what Sandy writes: we are along, with friendship, and positive thougts for you and your Bee!
Hugs!!!
Big hugs, Sarge. I'm hoping the throat isn't as sore as they say it will be. Will you be able to eat ice cream? or will they feed you in other ways? I'm hoping this clears it all up.
I'm praying for you and sending lots of hugs and love... Let me know if you want some of that special ice cream. I can make that happen.
Peace to you today, Sarge!
btw hope the treatments going ok!
As Gene would say, "Trolling, trolling, trolling....."
The GOP gives more to charity than the Dems do. I guess that includes compassion.
~~~
"The Lord bless you and keep you..."
If you're not familiar with this hymn, it says it all.
We're counting down, too!
~~~Blessings~~~
Is it just me or did that last smiling face look a whole lot like Miss Bee?! :)
Praying for you Sarge!
Dear sarge ...
You look great in that one shoulder shot.
I love you and i'm thinking of you every day!

Seriously, MattMan, seriously? Sarge is undergoing radiation therapy for cancer and you don't even have the decency to say "best wishes" before challenging him to come on your radio show? Seriously? Shame on you!
Sarge, sending good thought and prayers your way for good health and radiation therapy that isn't TOO bad. While I'm at it, I'll send ya big hug, too, even though I have that personal space issue that I inherited from my grandmother!
Once again Ass Man proves just how big a turd he is.
Hang in there Sarge...whoop it!
