Drill Sergeant Thompson serves Private Ivy a warm Thanksgiving meal at Ft. Jackson on Wednesday. Many of the soldiers said they were thankful for such a big meal and that it reminded them of their families back home.

Sandee's NOT kidding! She lives up the road a couple of hundred miles, and it is freezing here! We're looking for a hard frost.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are going to spend the day at Jihad Gene's house, and also making a stop at the airport to pick up The Hubs who is coming in for a short time! It's been 3 years since we have had Thanksgiving together! Here's a song for you, that I think you'll like sung by veterans Thanksgiving Gratitude.

SAAAAAARGE!!! Missed you! We are home now and I am getting caught up with your blog.

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you ate a lot of goodies :)

Did you watch my Tide yesterday? I know you thought of the Dust Bunny Hostage family and felt terrible for us, right? My husband bought The Boy a SOLID black Alabama hat tonight. How's that for mourning? LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend Sarge!
