Airport security

An unmanned vehicle helps secure the runway at Ben Gurion air port near Tel Aviv, Israel, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010. Senior Israeli airport official Nahum Liss said Tuesday screening procedures at airports around the world are inadequate, calling Israel's heavily fortified international airport the best protected in the world.

"In the U.S., profiling is a bad word," Liss said, but he defended the practice, saying it is done by "intelligent, motivated" university students who served in Israel's military and can identify passengers who could pose a potential risk.

FINALLY - A great alternative to body scanners at airports . . .

The Israelis are developing an airport security device that
eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body
scanners at the airports.

It's a booth you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will
detonate any explosive device you may have on you. They
see this as a win-win for everyone, with none of this crap about
racial profiling. It also would eliminate the costs of a long and
expensive trial. Justice would be swift. Case closed!

Just think: You're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled
explosion.

Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system . . .
"Attention standby passengers - we now have a seat available on
flight number XXXX.  Shalom!"

Perfect. I love it. Hey they were going to die anyway, so this just makes it better for the rest of us. Bwahahahahahaha. I support Israel.

Have a terrific day Sarge. :)

Makes sense to me, might as well hasten their journey and help them reach their goal...

I so wish we would wake up and start identifying the enemy for what it is and not dilly dally around the issue.

Israel has got it right. Love this solution, BTW. Win/win!

Big hugs, honey...

Hasten them on the way to all those virgins. My brother traveled in Israel several years ago and said he'd never felt as safe as he did there!
I'm pro-Israel and proud of it.

Honestly? I think it's a great idea! Definitely solves the whole problem of violating anyone's rights with a body search or what-have-you. After all, if you were okay with blowing yourself up on the plane then you should be okay with blowing yourself up before you get on the plane!
