What, me worry???????

30-1

She has a sparkle in her eye, yep, she sure has one. The problem is she has fear in her heart but is not willing to share it. I even know what it is, we are waiting to hear from my team of doctors about the surgical removal of my lung cancer, it could go either way, they my decide that I am not strong enough and want to wait. Miss Bee is not sure that I am strong enough to withstand the surgery either, we want to do it and get it over with but ours may not be the final decision.

Well shucks folks, I have been somewhat nostalgic this morning myself. Miss Bee did not sleep well last night, she had bad dreams when she did sleep. I was up this morning for a couple of hours prior to her and did not read any of your blogs, I went back through a lot of my old post looking for something to repost, maybe because I did not want to do this post.

You see, we are a team, we feed off each others strength for near 43 years now.

I came across this photo during my journey back through time this morning, we are on the Carnival Freedom on the Mediterranean Sea. That is Miss Bee sitting in a wheel chair in the front and I am standing behind her, you see, she was recovering from the removal of part of her lung and then radiation treatment for breast cancer. We were on the Freedom for 27 days, 12 days in the Mediterranean and 15 days transatlantic to Miami. This photo is part of Carnival’s On the Deck for the Cure of Brest Cancer. As a survivor Miss Bee was up front.

We are a team babe, so “WHAT, ME WORRY” we just got one more hurdle to jump, that’s all……..

Life has not always been easy, but we made it to the golden years, I still have things to do, places to go, and one more hurdle to jump………..

What Roberta said covers it for me too. You two are just the greatest. My inspiration.

Have a terrific day. Big hug to you both. :)

I can certainly understand Miss Bee's fears as the two of you seem to have been through so much lately but there is strength in numbers and you two are one of the strongest couples I know. This is scary stuff but together you're going to get through it and then finally be able to enjoy things again.

I have no doubt that Dr. Green is going to make the best decision possible for you as will the other doctors and if he doesn't, I'll be down in Florida in June and I'll come kick his behind! Though I'm sure that won't be necessary.

Hang tough, Sarge, you've got a lot of people behind you and Miss Bee!

The Bible says..."Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave only unto his wife and the two shall become one".....
God said it and you believed it. I am always so grateful when I hear someone explain that their mate is indeed a part of them in all ways. Bless you both. I feel the same way about my hubby of 56 years and am constantly amazed that love continues through all these years. We all are praying for you and your Miss Bee.

Beautiful post, Sarge.

It's not an easy thing to face, but thank the heavens you know you never have to face it alone.

You are both in my prayers and, as you might imagine from posts during the past year, I've had plenty of reasons to pray often. And so much for which to be thankful. Even with whatever today's news might bring, you and Miss Bee have so much for which to give thanks, don't you?

If you've got good doctors, then you have only a few things to remember: prayer and laughter. Both are important.

You two have weathered some really rough storms together. I don't need to tell you, but you're very blessed in that your love for each other is so strong. A hand to hold steady and true is reassurance that has no equal.
Sending more prayers from Bako! (That's what we natives refer to our town during the summer months!)
~~~Blessings~~~
