My adventure continues, the last day

Today is the last day of our cruise, we are headed back to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow morning.  I am the luckiest Flat Cat in the whole wide world to get to go on such an adventure.

I should apologize to Skeezix and Daisy the Curley Cat for trying to break up their romance, I wasn’t being very nice but I do like Daisy a lot.  This is Daisy writing a letter to Skeezix.

The Carnival Freedom is a very nice ship, today Sarge took me around on his scooter doing some sight seeing.

During my ride-about  I found my very nice food lady from Bangkok, she had all kinds of drinks, she gave me a bowl of cream.

And then there was the very beautiful food lady from Estonia, she gave me some more cream also but I was so full I only drank a little bit of it.

 

My very very nice food lady was loving me up when the other food lady came and they were fighting over me, how lucky can a Flat Cat be?

The Old Sarge rescued me and we continued our ride-about doing some more sight seeing, it is a beautiful day, Sarge Said we just went around the eastern end of Cuba as we make our way home.

And I found another lady friend, this is Monica, not the one that worked for Bill Clinton. 

 

As we sail into another beautiful sunset, This is Flat Jeter Harris signing off and I want to thank all of you kind folks that shared this adventure with me.  Most of all I want to thank Auntie Bee for bringing be along and Sarge Charlie for helping with my story.

Now this is how I love to start a new day, a new beautiful lady from Bangkok who wants to bring me real cream, I have so many food ladies on this ship, I am one lucky cat…..

 

Auntie Bee rested again today but Sarge took me to Ocho Rios on his scooter, some bad kids messed with the scooters but I scratched them with my flat claws.

I had lots of fun with all the wooden animals some of them are flat and some are fat but they all liked seeing a flat cat.

Then a nice lady let me try on one of her hats, here is Raster Flat Jeter.

The very nice art store man let me rest on one of his racks next to a lovely lady.

I fooled Sarge Charlie with this one, he thought I was posing with the ship but I was looking at the fishes in the water, I wonder if I could catch a fish.

The VIP food lady came with some more treats, I liked the fish tray yesterday, but oh well….

They just keep on giving us VIP stuff, more fishes please…….

I did love swimming with the Sting Rays

Tomorrow is another day at sea on our way back to Fort Lauderdale, I am going to be very sad when we have to leave the ship.

For my first post in this series, I would like to tell you a little history of a person who always had a positive attitude and believed he could do anything he wanted to.

From humble beginnings he was born on February 12, 1809, to uneducated farmers, in a one-room log cabin on the 348-acre Sinking Spring Farm, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky. His father was respected citizen of the Kentucky backcountry. He had purchased the Sinking Spring Farm in December 1808 for $200 cash and assumption of a debt.

In 1832 at age 23 he had an unsuccessful campaign for the Illinois General Assembly as a member of the Whig Party.

In 1833 with a partner he purchased a business which failed leaving him in debt.

Being a person with Positive beliefs, in 1834 he campaigned and won an election to the state legislature and, after coming across the Commentaries on the Laws of England, began to teach himself law and was admitted to the bar in 1837.

In 1843 he was unsuccessful as a candidate for the Whig Party for U.S. Congress.


In 1846 he was successful as the Whig Candidate for the U.S. Congress


In 1849 he left politics to practice law


In 1854 re-enters politics and was elected to the Illinois legislature


In 1855 he campaigned for but was not selected by the Illinois legislature to be U.S. Senator.


In 1856 he helped organize the New Republican Party and campaigned for but was not elected to be Vice President.


In 1859 he campaigned again but was not selected by the Illinois Legislature to be U.S. Senator


In November 1860 he is elected to be the 16th President of the United States


On April 12, 1961 the Civil War began.

In November 1864, he was re-elected as President of the United States

April 15, 1865 - President Abraham Lincoln dies at 7:22 in the morning.

April 26, 1865 - John Wilkes Booth is shot and killed in a tobacco barn in Virginia.

America buries a president

President Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States, many things happened in his life that would have stopped a lesser man, his positive attitude carried him to his proper place in history. Where would we be today if he decided, I am not going to do this anymore, I have had enough?

I hope you have a very positive day, I know I will…….. You see, a you read this post I am in my 6th day on the Carnival Freedom. I will be home on Sunday and I will visit all you positive folks.

My adventure continues…Grand Cayman

Today is a very nice day, that is Grand Cayman Island behind me.  There is no Pier here so to get off the ship you have to take a Tender Boat.

That is a Tender but it is hard for Sarge Charlie and Auntie Bee to get on so we are going to enjoy a nice leisure day on the ship without too many people,

That is another ship behind us, this is a busy place today.

 

Sarge Charlie introduced me to Bronze Girl, she is very cute but just dose not have a lot to say.

and then I met water girl, she is very lovely and she likes me a lot

 

But then flat jeter fell for a NOMS, this  Victoria from Estonia, she brings me real cream, she would be an excellent food lady.  I like her a lot and if I stayed with her I could live on this ship forever, these a big decisions  for a flat cat to make but we only have 3 days left, I do love this ship.

Then we went back to our cabin and the VIP lady has been there again, we like this stuff.

Now this is what I talking about, the VIP lady left this delicious gift today, two shrimp, some salmon, some cheese with Italian Ham, that makes me think I have gone to flat cat heaven.

And after dinner, I find another animal on our bed but it has Auntie Bee’s Tiara, har,har,har, I was laffin and laffin.

Dear Sarge Jeter Harris, Sir:

I do think it would be a good idea if we had a flat Daisy. what does flat Jeter know any way, it is just that his little flat hart was fluttering over the byootiful Daisy the Curley  Cat.  His attention span is not very long though, you know he has a flat brain also, out of sight, out of mind you know.

I noticed yesterday he was looking at girls in bikinis, I do not know a lot about flat cats but it sure looks to me like he is being infatuated with all the young ladies on the boat, he is the only cat so what is he supposed to do.

I have so much respect for you since you are not willing to cut in on your friend, Skeezix.

Skeezix the Cat said... Ware's flat Jeter?

Oh My……..It seems that man cat Skeezix has learned of what flat Jeter has been saying and hid plan to cut in of Skeezix for the Paw of Daisy the Curley Cat.  Apparently Skeezix is not too happy with the situation.  He is looking and looking for flat Jeter.  He has not been told that flat Jeter is having flat brain thoughts about girls NOMS (not of my species) in itsy bitsy  buhkinniz.  Rest easy Skeezix, everything is working out…..

The Sarge is a kewl guy, while auntie bee was tayking her nap we went to da suymmin pule area where thayre was lots of girls in itsy bitsy  buhkinniz, I did not make a moove on enny of dem but I sure liked whut I was seeing.  Sarge got me an Ize Creem  kowne and that was very kule, I never had my very own ize creem  kowne beefour.

Then we went to the kaseeno, were I made a few green papers on the poker table but their papers were round wooden circles , that was lots of fun……

I also played the slot machine, that is a stupid game cause a put all my monies in the slot and did not get any back, looooooser………….

Then I went up on deck 10 and while listning to the moosik I was scopeing out a couple of girls (NOMS). ew la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaa

Then I rested in a lounge chair while visions of NOMS danced on my flat brane……..

Sarge and Miss Bee went to the Sun King Restaurant tonight Look at the shrimp, I luv dem……….
